Texid Inj.

      COMPOSITION 

      Each 5ml ampoule contains:

      Tranexamic Acid         B.P.      -           500mg

      Water for Injection B.P.          -           q.s.

                             

      INDICATIONS

      General Surgery Procedure &  Acute Upper G.I. Bleeding.

     

      DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

      10mg/kg body wt. 3-4 times daily

     

      SIDE EFFECTS

      Diarrhea, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Heartburn.

 

      PRECAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS

      Patients with severe renal failure, active intravascular clotting, thromboembolic disease,

      colour vision disorders, subarachnoid bleeding, Coronary artery bypass graft surgery, should not use this medicine.

      Avoid IV injection rate >1 ml/minute due to risk of hypotension

      Pregnancy & Lactation

                 

      PRESENTATION

      Texid Injection is available in a box containing 5 ampoules of 5ml each.
